Chiara and I both prefer not wearing tights!

When you are indoors all day, like at school or in the office, wearing tights can cause a breeding ground for bacteria. Both of us prefer cotton underwear since cotton breathes, we avoid manmade fabrics that contain polyester or nylon, except for raincoats and skiwear.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday Chiara doesn’t have games or afterschool clubs, so she might wear cotton lace underwear under her skirts. There are many girls who add shorts under their skirts out of fear of revealing themselves in some way, but Chiara doesn’t.

Chiara also prefers long socks instead of tights, but she has been reprimanded for pulling her socks up over her knees because they look like stockings and the school has a strict dress code.

Wednesday today and I saw her dress with lace and long socks this morning. I have on a pair of cotton leggings and boots with a sweater.
