Is double denim ever acceptable?

I’m going out today and I’m wearing light coloured jeans and maybe a darker coloured denim shirt (mainly because I can’t be bothered to iron another one.)
Is this a total no no?

Yes, I think as long as they match, or make a good contrast of colors, you should be good to go.
