I’m sorry to be boring, I think I just need to vent.

One of our friends said something pretty harsh to me on Saturday about how my girlf looks/dresses. It hurt but I know it shouldn’t. I know I should say something to them and stick up for her, but we don’t have many friends and I don’t want to lose any more.

You don't need friends like that. The reason yhey say what they want is because they know you won't say anything in return. No one needs friends who don't act like friends.
