is it okay to still wear hoodies if you're a mature adult now
i'm pushing my late 40s now and wear black hoodies all the time still...and my old mother was telling me before that ' you look ok wearing black hoodies but a mature man should wear other types of attire too now, like smart shirts and jackets? '
and i told my old mum that i don't really like or would feel comfortable wearing shirts and jackets, or different colours other than black?
but my old mum made me feel a bit odd in the way she told me, she did repeat that i look 'ok' wearing black hoodies but that a mature man should wear other things now not just the same black hoodies all the time.
i tried to explain that i don't like wearing much else......tell me am i alright continuing to wear what i wear and shouldn't worry what others think of their judgements? black hoodies is all ive ever worn but at the same time, i wouldn't want to look odd either
any thoughts?
