I celebrated my 27th birthday today by trying to start a more mature wardrobe for myself

Starting small with 3 outfits, I’ve picked out some matching shirts, shorts(not mature enough for pants yet😝) and shoes that I think go well with one another. I’m not fashionable in the slightest so I spent a lot of time googling “what color goes well with XYZ” and watching some YouTube videos about ideas for Cuban shirts, etc. I hope I like them all

Excellent, sounds like a plan. I would also suggest seeking the advice of a female friend, family member or coworker. Someone you trust that wants the best for you. No one knows how to dress a man better than a woman.
