Back in the late 80's I was in a group home that also had a gymnasium with a weight machine we could work out with. We had to wear dedicated sneakers in the building and I had a pair of white Brooks hightops that I wore for a few years after I aged out. After they finally wore out I went to get a replacement pair, $165, in 1992 😶
