I think it's true to say that I've been vain about the way I dress since I was 11 or 12. Even when I had to wear a school uniform I used to have my trousers adjusted to a fashionable width, and when "tab-collar" shirts were the height of vogue I had 5 plain white ones which were just within the parameters of what was allowed.
I was chatting recently to a female student friend on here about day-wear, and she admitted that although she sometimes dresses on autopilot, on other days she will spend an inordinate time simply choosing what colour knickers she's going to put on. I can totally understand that attitude lol
