they're falling out of favor because they're all made in China...

a good pair of jeans used to last so long, they got passed down to relatives; now you're lucky to get a pair that lasts one season...

they are around $130

@Tetsuya also if you think that is expensive, I remember going to Levi store back around 1976 and the jeans were about $25 for some button fly 501's

@wildbill83 I saved a couple of Wranglers from the mid-80’s and still have them. The fabric is heavier than most jeans now and they don’t have as much give like the new denim.

@cherokeepatti I wouldn't fit in my teenager jeans, it's been 30 years since I had a 32" waist

@Tetsuya I am almost in one pair of those jeans, have lost a lot of weight since the first of the year.

@cherokeepatti I was at a 42" waist about 10 years ago and have dropped to a 36" waist by watching what I eat, the big thing was cutting out HFC

@Tetsuya I’ve lost 2 jeans sizes so far, had to order a smaller pair of Lee’s a couple weeks ago. The others were sagging down when I put my phone in my pocket.
