I have a bottle and use it for cooking and it's good to clean your face in the evening (rose water helps to build connective tissue in the skin). I made some cardamom-walnut Bundt cakes last Thursday and used rosewater in the glaze. There are different qualities of rose waters, some are better and more fragrant.

Rose water is an excellent hydrator for your skin, and hair. It won't make it fall off lol. Bleaching it and abusing it with heat tools will do that.

Do you know how many roses it takes to extract just an ounce of the essential oil from it? About 22 pounds of rose petals are distilled for every 5ml-bottle.
The oil is then diluted with other chemicals to make the fragrance. If you can get the pure extract of rose then bless your soul!
But you are right, Rose tea is wonderful to help detox and clean your intestines.
