Showing bra straps ok?

When you’re wearing a skinny-strap sundress or cami, do you always wear a strapless bra? Or is it OK to just wear a regular bra and let the straps show?
This is assuming you’d wear a bra with those styles

My first reaction is that if you have the bra straps easily visible it means you just don't care that much how you look. Kind of like letting your underwear stick up over your waist band.
