Showing bra straps ok?

When you’re wearing a skinny-strap sundress or cami, do you always wear a strapless bra? Or is it OK to just wear a regular bra and let the straps show?
This is assuming you’d wear a bra with those styles (which I always would)
Thanks!

As a man, I wont be wearing either. But as an observer, I prefer not seeing bra straps. It doesn't matter if clear or not. I think the light reflection off the clear straps only serve to highlight a bra is being worn. Of the alternatives, no bra or strapless, I think it depends on the woman's comfort level. Smaller chested might be more comfortable without any bra. Physically. But how a woman feels about herself, prudish or not, should be what is acceptable.

@SW-User I always wear a strapless bra in that situation, but I really wish most bandeau style strapless bras wouldn’t squash my boobs down!

@DianneV I'm ignorant in this regard. But is it due to a stretchy type material? I'm trying to understand why you are squashed down and the effects.

@SW-User if the strapless bra is just a band around you, they can’t give enough support to the cups to hold your breasts up. So most bra makers design it, so it’s just really tight and squashed your boobs down like a sports bra. For a lot of girls just stopping the bounce is all they want.

@DianneV I do know how a sports bra flattens. So now I understand why a bandeau would not be your choice. I've never been a fan of sports bras. But I do know they serve a purpose. One I would think most woman wouldn't want replicated when dressed in summer casual. Just my guess. I know as an observer, I'd rather see a woman's shape instead of her shape being flattened.
