I think he needs to understand that at his age of 50 or so-some cuts of a skirt he is just not going to be able to pull off. Time has passed for him. Also, some styles of skirts favor women only-(like the pencil and mini) and some are very adaptable to both sexes. (an aline or full) At 55, I would say proper. BUT--I would also have a flirty skirt or two in my closet. Just for fun. Ok-that'a a BAD example as I have over 40 skirts.
