@Quetzalcoatlus actually it’s more like psychology. I’ve read that people who wore the eye symbol against the Evil Eye in Europe are very less unlikely to get pickpocketed….like it they have a large Evil Eye symbol on the back of their jacket or t-shirt, the gypsies will leave them alone.
