have you ever had piercings u wanted but ur parents forbid u to have it?😏😏😏😅😅😅

4 me its having my belly button pierced😅😅😅 back in middle school i had this friend who was a literal party animal that had her belly button pierced at 14 (grade 2, middle school is 12~15 in my country)... she'd wear these crop tops and belly shirts that showed off her tummy and piercing and she'd always get the attention from the cute boys😉😉😉 so naturally i got jealous and it wasnt long b4 i wanted mine as well😆😆😆 i even wanted to step up a notch by having a cute little chain and a pendant dangling off from my pierced belly button lol😅😅😅

although my dad is super open and generally nvr cared about my outfits my dad got super pissed about this... we had real bad arguments and it took a long time 2 sort things out but in the end my mom was able 2 convince me 2 give up lol😂😂😂

when i went 2 hs my dad finally gave me the green light 4 piercings so i finally got 2 have multiple piercings on my ears lol (2 lobes + 1 helix on each)... yet 4 some reason i stopped after getting my ears pierced so even up 2 today i still dont have a belly button piercing lol😆😆😆

I tried getting my nose pierced... twice.

Both times, my nose became horribly infected to the point where I had to remove the piercing.

My mother banned me from having tattoos because of that (yes, I was an adult at the time) - but, by her logic - my nose got infected twice and I had to remove the piercing... a tattoo cannot be removed when (not if) it gets infected.

I got my ears pierced a second time, just the normal lobe piercing. I stopped after that because I wanted to have the space to get my ears pierced again with my children, should they want to follow in my footsteps.

Now I don't have to fear the possibility of ever becoming a mother - but it still doesn't feel right for me to go ahead and get more piercings... plus I have enough problems trying to keep earrings in my second piercings (they keep breaking and falling out of that second piercing, so I never picked up again and got further piercings after the second time I had my ears pierced.

I am the parent who didn't allow piercings and tattoos. One piercing for earrings and that was it.
Now that they are adults on their own... two either got or want tattoos. Nobody seems to want more piercings. They outgrew it all, pretty much. lol
The tattoos are something I don't get...it's a fad and the ones chosen are not amazing. lol

@SW-User i would also like to point out the fact that they made a post one day talking about how overweight people are now compared to the 70's... if you're 18 how would you be able to make that comparison?

why not lol😅😅😅 hav u looked at old footage b4 (i actually saw it on reddit comparing identical locations back then 2 now) and wondered why there was literally 0 overweight ppl on the streets?? meanwhile im losing weight (bc i hav a tummy pooch) via cico (calorie in/calorie out) but i when 1 single food item can giv me so much calories i basically hav 2 half-starve just 2 meet my calorie goals... plus u know how hard it is 2 stay in shape nowadays (see obesity epidemic) i get rly frustrated and wonder what kind of black magic was at work 2 keep every1 thin af back in the good old days...🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
