What shoes did you wear today?

@booinflipflops2 It has its pluses and minuses. I am so sick of having to make my own lunch and coffee. My office is in a city near a food court and other restaurants. And we have a cafeteria with good breakfast items.

But I do not miss the commute, and I like having a bed, shower, and kitchen nearby. I take little naps here and there, and nobody knows!

@PoizonApple I have about a dozen pairs of shoes, and three pairs of winter boots. But I never wear shoes indoors. Even before the pandemic. I have thermal socks and thick slippers.

@JoyfulSilence I figure it would get a little old being stuck there all day, but the naps are a definite plus.

@booinflipflops2 I try to get out every other day, even if just to get dinner or groceries. On weekends I go out for breakfast, and take long country drives.

The problem with naps is I will plan on only a 10 minute nap and then wake up an hour later. I feel guilty since I should be working.

@PoizonApple I used to only have two pairs. Then Nike stopped selling the style I liked, so I had to shop around to find new ones since my Nike's were worn. It took a while to settle on something I liked, so I have a few less than ideal pairs. Then, once I found something I liked, I bought a lot over a several year period, afraid they would stop being produced eventually.

I usually have three pairs in my closet on the floor, and I rotate. If one gets wet, I set it aside to dry and reach up to my stack of boxed shoes and set a pair on the floor to replace the wet ones. That way, I cycle through them all over time.

Yet with the pandemic, the cycling has slowed dramatically. And I try not to go outside when it is raining.

@JoyfulSilence You definitely need to get out and reset... I love to go for long country rides too, helps me relax.

@PoizonApple I love war games. I have one open right now in another window. The game is like Risk. I am slowly conquering Europe. I pause the play when I get a new notification on here.
