100% Polyester Velour?

Is it light in weight?
Have any fluid qualities to it?
Does the back side have a soft feel against the skin?

I have a custom made pullover made from polyester fleece called "Minky Fleece". Found it at a fabric store, which has a feel something like mink fur on both the inside & outside of the fabric. It is quite light in weight too, which is what also sold me on this fabric. It doesn't have that stiff, heavy feel like regular sweatshirt fleece. I had the custom made pullover made from Simplicity pattern #9226, Style "A" in XL size. I like 'em big as possible for two reasons: 1.) to wear over other garments & 2.) for a roomy, comfy fit when worn alone. It's remarkably wind resistant compared to the common sweatshirt fleece. That is, you don't feel the wind blowing through the fabric as easily as regular sweatshirt fleece. But as for being light in weight, it can get rather blustery & windblown in windy weather compared to regular sweatshirt fleece. Not much of an issue, unless you don't like the wind ruffling your clothes. It has an exceptionally warm feel to it with a cuddly soft, yet silky smooth touch.

I have found men's shirts made from velour. But I don't like the sloppy loose waistbands & cuffs. I like mine to have snug fitting waistbands & cuffs to keep the warmth in.
