Did you rub against like a brick wall, or something rough. You can get black dye to put in the machine (a black wash) that will rejuvenate them for you. I used to black dye my jeans in the machine all the time and they looked brand new for years.
@SW-User No, I have not. A black wash sounds useful, but it is almost certainly prohibited in my college, and my mom would not like me doing that in her washing machine.
