Depends on the shoe, really, but I've done it quite a bit. Like, I wouldn't wear my work boots or sneakers without socks, but something like flats don't need socks.

@EnchantedArtist2 I tend to buy cheaper shoes, and wear them until they fall apart, so with most of them socks are a must. Although, I'll agree that barefoot is perfectly fine!
