Should a guy shave his pubes?

I'd prefer to be completely bare down there, but my hair grows back super thick and super fast and it's just plain annoying to keep under control. If there was a way to shave it completely smooth and have it gone for a while, I'd do it but my hair just grows back super fast. It's dumb because some of my body hair grows fast, some grows super slow, and some places where most people have hair I am incapable of growing any at all. It's annoying to say the least.

I think it's my genetics that cause this but I never found out what race my biological father was, so I can't prove that either of my parents had this issue.
