What would be a better shirt to go with leggings besides a tshirt?

I have been told by a few women that I should get a different style shirt to wear with my yoga leggings. I am lost right now trying to figure this out. Do any of you ladies have a good idea on what I should take a look at besides my interworkings in my head? I have yoga leggings of all different colors and a pair of skinny jeans. Any help is appreciated and any rude comments deleted. Thank you.
