I have two!! Just received my second this morning, but can’t try it on until after work... :(
The first is this Victorian style dress, with a skirt designed to have several layers and a petticoat or hoop skirt to give volume to it. It’s a blue and grey brocade, and buttons up the front. I have added a similar color blue skirt with petticoat under it.
The newer one is a more medieval style dress, a gorgeous lavender... the color is even more gorgeous in person!
They are costumes, by the company Victorian Choice, but the make and materials are high-quality and are designed to be worn the same way as a real period dress you’d see worn by reenactors or SCA.
They are amazing though. Period wear is just so different compared to our current modern wear.
@MrsKatherineArch They say you gotta practice wearing them and once you get the hang of them and used to how they work you can manipulate them quite dexterously.
