Yes, but also it is cleaner and healthier, in as much as boys (and some men!) aren`t as fussy as they should be with regard to cleaning and drying under the foreskin.
My grandfather served in the desert during the war and the problems (agony) some men had who hadn`t been circumcised and got infections on their penis due to not being able to keep it properly clean. And it does look nicer in my opinion.

@jaybird No healthy society would permit this primitive amputation, or allow any surgery to be practiced on the genitalia without the full and informed consent of the person concerned. It has been argued that the process is more hygienic for the male and thus more healthy for females in helping them avoid, for example, cervical cancer. Medicine has exploded these claims or else revealed them as problems which can just as easily be solved.
