"Jean suit"?

@Scooter Yep, open collar. Maybe lose the tie? Or get a narrower black one.
Or a printed dress shirt rather than a solid one. Something more relaxed.

I think if the details and fit jacket were different I could see it leaning more smart-casual than it does now, but it still works I think. 💁

@AmbivalentFriability I meant without a tie. A solid one can look good depending on how it's done.

I'm not super fond of how it sits when it's open, but that cone's from ignorant online shopping I guess.

@Scooter Of course, just saying of you plan on leaving it closed maybe no tie would be preferable? But that's just my taste.

Yeah you never really know how it's going look until it's on your body.

@AmbivalentFriability I don't think I've ever done a closed collar without a tie, maybe I should try it sometime.

Overall I don't think it's bad enough to return or not wear.
