Can there be a fashion trend that looks good exclusively on bigger people?

Tired of waiting for something particular that I've been wanting to wear is on sale enough for me to afford it and then trying it on to find out it looks terrible on me, even in the appropriate size...it's like come on...the closest thing small girls can even come to understanding this might be pale girls who were disappointed that they can't pull off pastels. And before I get fatshamed, I have a legitimate medical condition.

Why don't you go ahead and try it on and see if you even like it. If you do like it, fine but if you don't you can stop wasting time thinking about it. You'll be even more disappointed if you think about it and when you can afford it you find out you don't even like it.

@antisocialbutterfly We all see faults others don't see and we magnify them too. The thing to do is to accept that you look how you look for now and choose what looks best on the body you have now. Doesn't mean you can't work on changing it.

Example, I have very large breasts and things can have a tendency to hang from them. But I discovered that if a top or dress doesn't have bust darts, it isn't going to hang right so there's no point in trying it on. That helps narrow the field and more things I try on look better and that makes me feel better. Find what works for you and focus on the cut, etc. And you'll look better and feel better.
