Should I get a pair of gladiator sandals?

Always thought they looked nice, and they loom comfortable.

Looking for some opinions if they would go with black shorts along with if they are comfortable to wear or any links to ones you guys suggest :)

My wife wears them all the time. She loves them. Says they are very comfortable. I dont pay attention much to what she wears them with but I'm assuming they go with many different things judging by how often she wears them
