Ever had a time where you heard of a piece of clothing you'd never thought really existed?

I remember about 7 years ago it was winter here, and I saw a lady with a warm looking coat. I complimented her on it, and she told me it was her summer coat. I remember my jaw dropping open, and trying out the words, "summer" and "coat" together. To me, being a desert rat and all, it seemed a very odd combination of words. But when she told me she was from Labrador, it made sense.
