Are men's shorts getting a little shorter this year and do you approve?

My hubby says that only gay men wear shorts above their knee, I disagree. Except for the obvious physical factor that allows women to wear shorter shorts than men, I see nothing wrong with men showing their legs as long as the don't show their personal parts.
