Some men's shorts are ridiculously long. They look so uncomfortable, how do they walk in them.

I think it's okay above the knee. My Dad wears a pair of tennis shorts that he's had since the 1980's. They look fine to me.

Newfrommars, we don't have to wear short shorts, some of us just like them better and they are more comfortable.

It doesn't really make a difference to me. As long as there's no indecent exposure, it shouldn't matter.

If anything what I am saying is anti-sexism. I don't think that it is gay for a guy to wear shorts that show a little more of his legs. To me long shorts are uncomfortable and I don't see anything wrong with guys wearing what is comfortable. He doesn't have to be showing off.

I find about 5" midseam the most comfortable. Short enough to allow movement, but long enough to keep everything in.

@girls, definitely nothing wrong with showing upper legs. That's what I wear sometimes.
But showing butt cheeks is too gay for me. That is for girls, not recommended for men's attire

my son says the same thing .he wears his shorts below his knees,which mean that his underwear are show with out a very long shirt.nothing wrong with wear shorter shorts

My casual shorts are a couple inches above. Some of my running shorts are way higher but then my legs are a gift to the world

Personally i play rugby so short are well above the knee and am not in the slightest bit gay also more men are getting muscular legs these days and shorter shorts show them off better

I think that a little longer than just not showing butt cheeks, but nothing wrong with upper leg showing.

I don't see anything wrong with a man in shorts that show his thigh, but definitely not so short that other things show. I also don't think that shorter shorts make a guy look like he is gay.

That is an intelligent response. I wear minidresses or miniskirts that are long enough to cover my panty. Comfortable. Ease of movement. Better suntan.
