It's a valid question given the times we live in.
There's already concern that the last two generations haven't had enough children to be able to support and replace those boomers and gen.x currently in the retirement zone and business is worried it's pace for automation isn't quick enough to replace the manpower required.
All that and it still doesn't address the disgusting disparity between male and female earnings/pensions/rights for those doing the same job for unequal pay.
And then there's the nonsense over what your children should be protected from and what the government either says they shouldn't or at least is no longer prepared to subsidise/pay for.
Measles outbreaks being the obvious evidence of that.
