So your husband in not able to get you pregnant ?
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale I don't have a husband
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 So you want to have a child and raise it by yourself and deprive them of having a mom and a dad ?
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale lol no deprivation they'll have a very commited, independent mother and several amazing male and female role models. Take it from someone who knows this is much better than a broken family home and seeing your dad 1 day a week or less whilst your step family take over his life. Children need love and role models not a marriage
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 Yes, a role model family means a mom and a dad....geezzzzzz.
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale no it doesn't at all. All families are different some have 2 mums, 2 dads, 1 of each or just 1 or the other. Some children are raised by grandparents or aunties/uncles ect there's no one size fits all.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 But MOST of those families started out with a mom and a dad or just a girl that get pregnant by accident which is usually never planned. And the parents got divorced and all of those things happened afterwards that you described....but to start out having a child because you want one is just selfish. I can see being a surrogate for another couple or having a family adopt it. But not your way.
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale you're entitled to your opinion. You're wrong but entitled to it none the less lol
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 having a baby without a husband is just wrong, because you want one like every family does.
Just what this world needs, another child being raised by a single parent...
Look at the history of how most of those kids turn out...its not good.
Why not become a foster parent ? So many good foster parents are needed.
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale why not mind your own business. I've worked with kids my entire life and the ones with the most trauma, damage and safeguarding needs live in 2 parent homes. Just coz opinionated clueless males such as your self aren't capable of doing it solo doesn't mean the rest of us aren't.

@Midlifemale 😂 I'm perfectly capable of having a relationship thanks it's just not a priority right now some of us can cope just fine on our own and don't need another person to survive. It's the right thing to do for me and that's all that matters. I think you'll find it's yourself that's ignorant to the variety of life, circumstances and families none of which are one size fits all. Not my problem if you can't manage all the joys of life on your own but I can so I'm all good but thanks for your concern 😉

@woodyemma2013 ok then, I wish you the best because having a child is the most wonderful thing you can do.
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale I agree it absolutely is ❤️
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 but I still say that uou should eventually find a man so the child will have a dad. Dad's as well as mom's are important in a childs life, especially the younger years
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale well hopefully prince charming will show up one day but right now he's off wooing Cinderella somewhere
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale

I won't do this in private. You chose to berate me for my life choices and showed a completely narrow mind at what makes a family but it's ok for you to want to sleep with me. Not only a double standard but absolutely disgusting. For the record my donor is an artificial one we are in no way sexually involved now or ever. Please don't message me again.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@woodyemma2013 It's your life plus another life and it is still a bad choice. To purposely want a child because you can't find a boyfriend or there isn't a guy out there to tolerate you and be so selfish to have a baby anyway is a terrible choice....just like all the other women who get pregnant because they're so careless and then want to abort the baby. There are too many single mom's around that can't give the proper care to their children and you want to purposely do that is awful.
If you want a child...adopt one for god's sake....
woodyemma2013 · 41-45, F
@Midlifemale and if you want to get yourself off you have 2 hands use one of them, with men like you around it's no wonder women choose to be single
