Ready to have a baby

I didn’t think I was ready for kids, I’ve only been married for a month. However, I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I didn’t expect my reaction to be disappointment.

I think I’m ready ..

When I woke up and she was vomiting in the master bath.

Upon her exiting the bathroom, I asked if she was OK, and she asked me if I liked kids.....

And I realized in that split second that I was ready.
