Yes.
There is a missconception about what genetics is and how it works.
Of course genes hold significative information that guides development.
BUT is not at all a complete "program" for all what happens to the phenotype and (more important) neither at all enough to guide all (not even near to all) what will happen.
Most of what genetics gives is a frame for interaction with a wider reality, outside.
Part of those factors out of the genes themselves shape fingerprints.
And also things quite more important than fingerprints.
