Oh man. I found teaching my daughter stressful lol
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@RebelRaven I took my daughter for the same in a parking lot, it was bad. In her defence she never drove before and had no idea what she was doing plus she is short and couldn't see fuck all I think.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@JimboSaturn ohhh, ya us short girls.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@RebelRaven Lol, yes my daughter is under 5 feet.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Happy Birthday to him. 🎂🎁🎈
syd03 · 41-45, M
Enjoy the ride
ineedadrink · 56-60, M
So he's eager? I've been hearing about some kids not being too interested in getting their license.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@ineedadrink he’s eager alright, we actually started taking him out in the summer
ineedadrink · 56-60, M
@RebelRaven My daughter started by driving in our back yard. Only once came close to hitting the house. That would have been fun to explain to the insurance company. 😬
AngelaR80 · 46-50, F
It's 17 in UK before they can learn. Omg now thinking about trying to teach my girl.... No no no I'll pay a professional to suffer that 😂. Couple of years to save up
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M
@AngelaR80 My daughter didn't drive for a while after passing her test. When she got a car I took her out so she could get bank into it and that was bad enough
AngelaR80 · 46-50, F
@MrAverage1965 whenever I try to explain something to her she accuses me of "matronising" her. Until I pointed out she's using like patronising but it actually has a completely different meaning. At which point I had the full on teenage huff mode and a " See exactly what I mean!" 🤦🏻‍♀

I can't see me teaching her to drive would ever be a success 😂
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@AngelaR80 my son learned the hard way when I say stop bickering with me about it, I mean it. He doesn’t get to drive yet. I'm also making him drive in a huge parking lot until I’m comfortable enough for him to be on the streets. If he even once doesn’t listen to me there, he won’t be driving my SUV.
UpsideOutInsideDown · 41-45, M
He only needs to know one manoeuvre and it'll make every girl weak at the knees

RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@UpsideOutInsideDown hmmm now that I’d like to see, that’ll be a first!
UpsideOutInsideDown · 41-45, M
@RebelRaven I can drift anything. Being a gigantic blob of a person, I just throw myself one way or the other and momentum does the rest
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@UpsideOutInsideDown something us short girls can’t exactly do. He’s about your height too.
Are you sure you're the best person to teach him? 😜
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@NudasPriest Foff, between his dad and I, yes. 😝
