So the news was pretty good. They did an x-ray and everything looks good. The doctor says it takes a foot a long time to heal. He wants him to wear a soft brace for a few weeks now and prescribed him a anti inflammatory to help with the swelling. He also suggested ice , extra rest and keeping his foot elevated whenever he can.

He did very well at the appointment. He was very scared at first and sat down on the floor with his eyes closed for a while, but once he realized he wasn't going to have to have surgery that moment, he relaxed and he got a special treat of a donut and chocolate milk after the appointment.
