Plans to help tiny tornado

So my boy has struggled off and on with his mother walking out and abandoned us. At times at school it is pretty hard because the other kids make Valentine's Day cards, mother's Day cards and Christmas gifts for their mom and of course he can't. By the way he's 7

So the therapist feels that with the past few weeks of stars injuries it has triggered some past emotions in him. Star and Joel's ex-wife has been feeling the void that he has with his mother leaving. But of course Stars role has changed majorly. She's no longer helping him get ready for school or picking him up and helping him with his homework like she has been all year long. And Joe's ex-wife has been out of town the past few weeks so they haven't got to go there either. So I think he's missing them both

So he feels that's a few encouraging things and he can help him get this.

First off he wants to put signs on his bed that glow in the dark says head and feet. That way if he's at the wrong end he can look at the sign and just know. He doesn't want to try putting pillows at both ends of his bed.

Also suggested getting a few weight stuffed animals for him to cuddle with. Or get a weighted blanket. It might help him sleep better and not move around on his bed so much.

He also like the idea that the tents. Found out they actually have them at Joel's ex wife's house. So we're going to be looking into those tonight. Might even see if Sissy wants one.

Hopefully this will help get him back on track. I don't think I could stand another night like he had last night. It broke my heart.

This tiny tornado of mine.

I like the glowing signs idea! What about the tents?

@Boeing we going to let them pick out ones that they like and order them tonight. But we'll have the signs, the toys and weighed blankets to try.
