if they felt the happiest in the clothing they picked, absolutely. it is ALL about comfort and happiness/feeling good. But, be prepared to protect them against society norms if you are their parent.
@HellsBelle But at that age they're just wearing what they like, they do not understand the cultural gender significance of that particular clothing. @NativePortlander1970 I didn't watch that. but let me rephrase. There are only two genders. Sometimes, men wear makeup and wear dresses, and that's fine, but they are not women. Sometimes women buzz their hair and wear no makeup, and that's fine, but they are not men. Everything is okay as long as we accept science. There are only two chromosomes. XX and XY. But there is a reason hospitals now as "what was your s*x at birth?"
