The company of others following your same journey can be priceless. Whatever that journey may be.
IMHO, Facebook is a great place to find supportive groups, and for what seems like thousands and thousands of different special interest. I would imagine that they would have quite a few groups for single moms.
From my experience there, successful groups do a pretty good job at keeping outsiders and spammers out, preserving a sense of security for open dialogue.
