Kids and crime

When you were younger did you ever step in and stop and older kid from committing a crime?

If so what happened and who old were you and how old was the kid committing the crime?

I prevented my big brother from severely abusing my smaller brother. Does that count? I was maybe 12 and they were 11 and 14.

@Queendragonfly It does and I am sure that he tried to do that.

@Queendragonfly Sure hope I didn't bring up bad memories with this one.

@Wol62 He achieved several times. I have some fragments of memories of my little brother bleeding all over his head and face and no parents were home so we went to our grandma who lived nearby. My big brother could beat him so severely.

@Wol62 it's ok. I have processed most of that in therapy by now. But thanks for the concern 🤗

@Queendragonfly That is awful, sorry to read that he did this to his little brother, that is awful, he must have been a violent bully.
My one was around that time too, I was and at a friends house, we caught an older kid, who was 12 in the garage trying to steal a bike.

@Queendragonfly You are welcome.

@Wol62 How about you?

@Queendragonfly Well, when I ws 10 I was round at a friends house, there was a lot us there and the kids mom was next door, so she felt safe leaving us there. The week before a bike had been stolen from their garage and we heard a noise. Coming from the garage, we went down to check and one kid, around 12 ran off, leaving another 12 year old standing in the garage, with the bike! Caught, busted right? He tried to get away but I gave him a black eye and they called the cops.
