I believe in respect

I always address my elders with sir and ma’am I have always been told it’s a way of respect and only speak when spoken too and children should be seen not heard.

Really good to see that coming from a young person. I've been the same way my whole life. I'm not a kid and it's still "Sir" and "Ma'm" for people older than me. I grew up in a "Speak when you're spoken to" world too and it's hard to see children with no boundaries. I can't even imagine being asked as a child "What do you want for dinner." I ate was I given and was taught to appreciate it.

A big change I've seen in my life is parents treating their children as equals. I'm not a fan. When discipline and respect are taught at young age it's something that's carried through life. I think it pays dividends.

@Ynotisay with me I have never had a say in what I eat or drink I just have to accept thats what I have any moaning then there’s
consequences.

If I am with out with my daddy then I sit quiet and let adults speak.

@ZakHally Well, you're a grown man now. Children and adults are different.

@Ynotisay erm I wouldn’t say that

@ZakHally Fuck. I thought you were making a serious comment. Not feeding yourself something and using others to get it. Not cool.
