This Thursday I will be fifteen weeks pregnant

Some say this is four months, but I believe it’s not quite four months. My baby bump is starting to show. My midwife is saying that I am not showing lots of uterine fluid which means I look smaller compared to others.

A baby bump, or the rounded abdomen of a pregnant person, typically becomes visible between 16 and 20 weeks, though it may appear sooner in subsequent pregnancies or later for first-time mothers. While initial, early swelling is often due to bloating, a noticeable, firm bump usually develops during the second trimester as the uterus grows.

I am very excited about this process, as you might have sensed already, and in five weeks I will have my second scan during which we might find out what sex baby is.

Your body is always smaller with the first child, your body will adjust. During your next pregnancies youll notice it sooner
