Pregnancy Flying Solo Again

Hey everyone,I've been lurking here for a while but finally decided to share my story. I'm Annabelle, 28, mom to my amazing 6-year-old daughter, and currently 6 months pregnant with baby #2.

Both pregnancies have been solo journeys for me - no partner in the picture for either one. I know that might sound scary or overwhelming to some people, and I won't lie, there have been moments where I've felt the weight of doing this alone. But honestly? I've surprised myself with how capable I am.With my first pregnancy, I was terrified. I kept thinking I needed someone else to "complete" the picture, you know? But as the months went on, I realized I had everything I needed.

My mother and father stepped up in ways I never expected, my sister became my birth coach, and my best friend Zarah practically moved in during those first newborn weeks. I learned that family isn't just about having a romantic partner - it's about the people who show up for you.Now with pregnancy #2, I feel so much more confident. I know I can handle the sleepless nights, the doctor appointments, the million decisions you have to make.

My daughter is excited to be a big sister, and watching her help me prepare has been incredible. She talks to my belly every night and has already picked out books to read to the baby.Don't get me wrong - some days are hard. When I'm exhausted and still have to make dinner, or when I'm at a prenatal appointment and see couples holding hands in the waiting room, I feel that pang.

But then I remember how much I've accomplished on my own, how strong my little family unit is, and how lucky I am to have people who love and support us unconditionally. To anyone else going through pregnancy solo - you've got this. You're braver and more resourceful than you know. And to those with amazing support systems like mine - treasure them. They're everything.

Thank you all very much for listening. This community means a lot to me, even as a mostly-silent observer.

Cheers.
