Don't be afraid.
Women have been giving birth for thousands of years. Your body is designed for it! Relax and let nature take its course. You’ll be fine.
BTW, we had 7. Never having had any problems, we had the 6th one at home. A wonderful experience and quite an education for his two teenage sisters!

My daughter had our first grandchild in October - that ended in a c section. But all great in the end. My daughter in law had her first in December, very long labour and few complications but all well in the end.

Childbirth is the “easy” part, nurturing, teaching, sleepless nights, arguments, worrying over every cough or scraped knee. That will give you greys, but every hair that turns is also a reminder of first laughs, first steps, favourite first foods, most loved stuffies and how fast they grow. In the end you’ll give anything to be back in those early years of “firsts”. Enjoy them while you can and savour every second, because they will never come again.
