I thought the same and built up this idea in my head and it would happen that way but it took several years for me in the end 😞

Someone already suggested an ovulation tester but folks seem to use tracking phone apps too which I didn't have at the time.

Are you planning to get married soon I wouldn't necessarily make the goal of your wedding night but you could plan on getting married and then getting pregnant soon after with your spouse
