I Am Pregnant

13+1, second attempt at a scan and baby was still bouncing around today, flipping upside down, waving arms and legs and crashing all over the place 😂 it's a miracle we got any measurements at all!

My next dilemma is, do I tell facebook? I'm so scared something will go wrong and I also never post anything on there anyway. I also have a blood thing where it might end up having some problems with growth in the 3rd trimester. But I also have all of my partner's relatives overseas and it might make it a little more real for me. Hmmm :/

Thats difficult. A person doesn't want to say anything too early. But on the other hand, a person doesn't want to wait until you are almost giving birth. I would let close friends and family know privately. Best wishes for the rest of the pregnancy.

@Lochlee well, 12/13 weeks is pretty usual for people to tell, but I'm still a little hesitant. I feel somehow like telling people would be facing a fear of mine that the baby might die any minute. On the other hand, I hate fuss. I'm a complete contradiction! 😂

@Starsandfire I don't think that it is an unusual fear - its a strange burden for a woman. Tell a few close people (the word will spread). Expect a bit of a fuss - and try to enjoy it :-) people love a pregnancy! And yes, DownTheStreet is right, expect the unsolicited "advice" and blow-by-blow birth stories...its part of the experience.
