In an unbroken line, back to about 1670. With a few gaps, back to the 11th century. And, making a bit of an assumption, back to Neolithic times (my surname is the same name as a Neolithic settlement that a lot of my family lived around and still live around).
@GlassDog: Gosh Dog that is amazing and I am so jealous..lol

@Starshine: Aww, don't be. Now that we're making advances in DNA genealogy, people will be able to work out similar things but without all the hard work. :)
@GlassDog: I hope so but still that is so impressive. You do know I am SBelle?

@Starshine: Eek! I didn't make the leap I should have made from the picture. I was wondering where you were hiding. :)
@GlassDog: I left a notice on qna but only a few people saw it I think. Well now you know so dont be a stranger☺

@Starshine: Aww, I didn't see it. I'm glad you said hello. Why the change? Are you okay?
@GlassDog: oh yes I am fine. I dont know but the user name became old and tired. And of course the stereotype of being southern is always there. I am proud of my roots and I dont mind fighting for my culture you know? I guess that needed a rest:-)

@Starshine: Ahh, I always liked seeing your old username. It was comforting somehow. I'll get used to the new one, but you'll still be SBelle in my head for a while. :)
@GlassDog: that is fine:-) Another person told me that as well, I am still the same old me😃
