Why do people think they are so good at planning this? Do they think can read the future -- know what the situation (financial and otherwise) will be --know the nature of the children they will get and not get.

@beckychandler: No but most figure once they hit the amount they want they'll get a permanent solution and not have to worry. And most woman figure they will only have the kids they want to have I suspect

If I were a guy getting girls pregnant would be easy peezy lemon squeezy. Supporting someone going through pregnancy rather than popping out life is simpler to consider
