how much of a chance is there a pregnancy test can be wrong?
i feel horrible and im late but the test i took yesterday was negative

Oh just saw you're late, well false neg are more common that false pos. Take a second. If you are only late like a day then it could be a false neg but most of those tests are sensitive to like two days before your expected period. You might feel crappy because your body is skipping a period due to stress, or your period is on its way.@Flenflyys:

Your doctor should have urine tests in office to do one right on the spot. But a blood test would just be added peace of mind.
