Sayings my family always tells me~
الصبر مفتاح الفرج
Patience is the key to relief.
الحاجة أمّ الاختراع
Necessity is the mother of invention.
لا تؤجّل عمل اليوم إلى الغد
Do not leave for tomorrow what you can do to-day.
في التأنّي السلامة وفي العجلة الندامة
In caution there is safety; in haste repentance.
ما كلّ ما يتمنّى المرء يدركه تجري الرياح بما لا تشتهي السفن
Winds do not blow as the vessels wish.
Or :
Man does not attain all his heart's desires for the winds do not blow as the vessels wish.
Especially the last one when I want a lot of stuff at once my older sister tells me that 😂❤
And sometimes when I say: she/he did it too!
Example: my friend did it too!
My family replies with : so if your friend jumped in fire you will jump too?
They mean by that don't do like what people do you are you. Why do they sound a bit weird in English 😂
