Who was in charge of your home, your mom or your dad?

My mom was and still is in charge of the household.

Dad was the titular head, but Mom was always the very obvious power behind the crown -- the one who kept the machinery of the family working and the primary disciplinarian.

@beckychandler: My family was this way too with mom home all the time she ran the day to day house but her authority clearly came from her husband and my dad.
