What do you call these? We call them reins. Are they useful?

We call them child leashes and no - they aren't useful for the most part. They are easily defeated by a child doing a sit-down strike!

@Degbeme: much easier said than done. All I know is we wasted our money on two of them. We had four kids and none of them were good with it

@Degbeme: that makes all the difference! We bought ours after we had the second figuring they were both grow into them well neither one of them ever really took to it and neither of the next two ever took to it either
